High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)
The HMMWV Ballistic Advantage Kit is modular in design and can be applied to all HMMWV configurations. The Armor uses C2 Technology to provide the lightest armor on the market resulting in maximized payload capability and extended vehicle life cycle over conventional armor systems.
The Ballistic Advantage kit provides small arms protection, underbody blast protection, and exceeds the IED specification. The armor has been combat tested in Iraq and was subjected to actual IEDs in the streets of Al Fallujah resulting in minor abrasions.
The Ballistic Advantage Kit can be field installed in about 4 hours and requires no vehicle modifications or special tools.
