ArmorWorks Receives Additional ESAPI Order, Company’s Current Contracts Exceed $100 Million

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 11, 2006 – ArmorWorks, a leading provider of advanced armor products, today announced from the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. the receipt of a $5.4 million follow-on delivery order for Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts (ESAPI) for protection of military combat personnel. This order was placed under a multi-year ID/IQ contract administered by the multi-service Defense Logistics Agency. With this order, the company’s current contracts with the United States Department of Defense exceed $100 million.

This order is in addition to a previous ESAPI order from the Defense Logistics Agency announced by the company on September 13, 2006. ArmorWorks supplies body armor, vehicle armor, aircraft armor, and shipboard armor to the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force.
