The FAV
Ballistic Advantage Kit uses C2 Technology
to provide the lightest armor on the market resulting in maximized
payload capability and extended vehicle life cycle over conventional
armor systems.
The Ballistic
Advantage Kit provides small arms protection, underbody blast
protection, and exceeds the IED specification. The armor has
been combat tested in Iraq.
Special
features have been incorporated into the design maintain list
compatibility with the armor system.
An optional
bench/running board is available to allow the war fighter
to ride the exterior of the vehicle demonstrating maximum
presence and providing blast protection while allowing easy
egress.
The Ballistic
Advantage Kit can be field installed in about 4 hours and
requires no vehicle modifications or special tools.
