PRODUCT / MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

ArmorWorks, a Chandler-based, internationally recognized manufacturer of protective materials and products, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical / Composite engineer with 5-10 years practical, hands-on experience to serve as Product/Manufacturing Engineer. Duties include engineering drawing packages development, planning, coordinating, and executing production and developmental engineering projects, Bill of Materials generation, qualification testing, Root Cause Analysis, production process development, process specifications and assisting in quote and proposal preparation.

The successful candidate has:
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years in an ISO-9001 manufacturing. company, preferably in a DoD contracting environment.
• General knowledge of composite fabrics or armor construction is desirable.
• Proficient with SolidWorks or ProE modeling software and engineering design practices.
• Ability to handle organize and run a project with minimal supervision – works well in teams.
• Knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and generation of Bill of Materials.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FABRICATOR

ArmorWorks, a Chandler-based, internationally recognized manufacturer of protective materials and products, has an immediate opening for an R&D Fabricator to support new product designs as required to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has expertise with the following:

• Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Prototype Metal Fabrication from preformed channels, bars , tubes, etc.
• MIG Welding (TIG Welding a plus)
• Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Machine Operation a plus – Mills, Lathes, etc.
