Receives U.S. Air Force ESAPI Order
Tempe-based ArmorWorks Provides Armor for All Branches of
U.S. Military

TEMPE, Ariz.,
September 13, 2006 – ArmorWorks,
a leading provider of advanced armor products,
today announced the receipt of a $5.4 million
follow-on delivery order for Enhanced Small Arms Protective
Inserts (ESAPI) for protection of Air Force combat personnel.
This order was placed under a multi-year ID/IQ contract
administered by the multi-service Defense Logistics Agency on
behalf of the Air Force.
“We are driven by our commitment to deliver the
finest armor protection for our troops,” ArmorWorks president

about this follow-on order which recognizes our track record
for product reliability and early delivery.”
This order is in addition to recently announced
body armor orders for the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps.
