Receives Second Army Delivery Order for Side Armor

TEMPE,
Ariz., September 6, 2006 – ArmorWorks,
a leading provider of advanced armor products,
today announced the receipt of its second
delivery order from the U.S. Army to provide Enhanced Side
Ballistic Inserts (ESBI). This order is pursuant to the
company’s ongoing $543 million ID/IQ contract with the U.S.
Army on which the company previously announced commencement of
fulfillment ahead of schedule.

troops with this vital protection,” said Bill Perciballi,
president and founder of ArmorWorks. “We feel this follow-on
delivery order is in response to our demonstrated ability to
deliver early on the contract and to assure expanded supply of
key ceramics and other ballistic components. We anticipate
additional delivery orders on this ID/IQ contract as we
further expand production capacity and continue to demonstrate
quality and reliability.”
ArmorWorks is also currently fulfilling U.S.
Department of Defense contracts for advanced armor including
Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts (ESAPI), vehicle armor
and aircraft armor.
