TEMPE, Ariz. – July 7, 2006 – Tempe-based ArmorWorks has
received a contract from the United States Army for Enhanced
Side Ballistic Inserts (ESBIs), protecting U.S. troops’ sides
with ceramic and composite armor technology. The Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract represents $543
million in ceramic body armor production for U.S. troops
